Mike Pospisil is a highly regarded attorney specializing in high profile commercial litigation - especially complex matters and class action litigation. He is not only a seasoned trial attorney, representing clients across the country in both state and federal courts, but also has expertise in arbitration proceedings and appellate practice - having recently argued before the United States Supreme Court.

Mike was born and raised in Nebraska. He attended law school at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Following graduation, Mike was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William C. Connolly, a Justice on the Nebraska Supreme Court.

Following his clerkship, Mike represented Fortune 500 plaintiff and defense clients at the Kansas City office of Bryan Cave, LLP. While there, Mike honed his litigation skills and gained substantial experience in consumer class action litigation and complex litigation. While at Bryan Cave, Mike's practice focused largely on defending H&R Block in courts throughout the country.

Mike joined the Edgar Law Firm in 2005 where he focuses largely on representing plaintiffs. His practice is widespread - both in the courtroom and in appellate courts throughout the country. Mike's area of expertise is litigating high stake, complex legal matters and pursuing class action lawsuits on behalf of consumers.

Since joining Edgar Law Firm, Mike has achieved tremendous results for clients, Most notably, Mike served on the Edgar Law Firm team that successfully represented the redevelopers of Kansas City's President Hotel in a six-week jury trial against a Cleveland-based law firm, Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP. Edgar Law Firm negotiated a $43 million settlement for their client. He has also represented clients in similar complex situations covering a wide spectrum of legal issues across the country. Mike has also obtained great results for clients in the areas of securities fraud, breach of contract and fiduciary duties, business torts, fraud, construction litigation, business torts, and trade secret litigation in front of juries, judges, and arbitrators.

Mike is also no stranger to appellate courts, including the highest court in the land. In February 2016, Mike had the honor of arguing in front of the United States Supreme Court. Mike's case was one of approximately 70 the Supreme Court heard that term, out of a pool of approximately 10,000 appeals. He has argued and briefed cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd, 5th, 7th, 8th, and 10th Circuits. He has also argued and briefed cases in courts of appeal in Missouri, Kansas, West Virginia, Texas, and Tennessee.
